The software engineering landscape is undergoing a monumental shift. As we fully enter the era of SE 3.0, the traditional paradigms of writing boilerplate code are giving way to intent-first, conversational development. For global digital product engineering companies, the question is no longer just how to adapt to this technology, but how to cultivate the talent that will drive the future of AI-Native Tech.
At EOV (EmbarkingOnVoyage), we believe the answer lies in bridging local talent with global standards. Right here in Pune – one of India’s most dynamic technology hubs, we are investing heavily in the next generation of technologists. Through our structured internship programs, we aren’t just teaching students how to work; we are training them to become AI-native innovators capable of serving our diverse client base across the UK, Europe, and India.
The “AI-Native” Approach to Upskilling
The developers and designers of tomorrow need a fundamentally different skill set than those of five years ago. They need to be “Agent Bosses” – strategists who can orchestrate Agentic AI to solve complex human problems.
Our internship program is designed to immerse young professionals in this exact environment. We don’t believe in busywork. From day one, our interns are integrated into active project lifecycles, learning how to leverage AI tools to accelerate development velocity, enhance user experiences, and ensure security compliance – skills that are particularly critical for our partners in highly regulated European and UK markets.
We are proud to have supported more than 15 interns through our program to date, ensuring they are compensated with stipends that recognize the real value they bring to our teams.
Real Impact: Stories from the EOV Floor
The true measure of our program’s success is seen in the growth of the individuals who walk through our doors.
- Sandeep (UI/UX Team): Design in 2026 requires an understanding of how users interact with increasingly intelligent interfaces. Sandeep joined our UI/UX team and immediately embraced the challenge of designing for AI-driven platforms. He has learned to balance aesthetic intuition with data-driven UX principles, helping us create seamless digital product experiences that resonate across global demographics.
- Shambhavi (Software Engineering Team): Shambhavi stepped into our engineering floor ready to tackle the complexities of modern software architecture. By working alongside our senior engineers, she is mastering the art of human-in-the-loop oversight. Learning not just how to deploy code, but how to govern AI-generated outputs for enterprise-grade security and scalability.
Engineering the Future, Together
India has long been the backbone of global IT infrastructure, but the future is about leadership in innovation, not just execution. By fostering early talent in Pune, EOV is building a robust pipeline of engineers, designers, and thinkers who natively understand the intersection of human creativity and artificial intelligence.
When our clients in London, Berlin, or Bangalore partner with EOV, they are tapping into a workforce that is not only technically proficient but structurally prepared for the future of digital product engineering.
We are incredibly proud of Sandeep, Shambhavi, and all the interns who have been part of our journey. They are not just the future of EOV; they are the future of global tech innovation.
